读后续写的续写部分适当引用原文的词、句可以使原文与续文更好地照应,但这种引用应是创作性的,不能原封不动地照抄,万一被判抄袭,那就得不偿失了。
以2022年新高考1卷的读后续写为例,文章描写了残疾学生David在老师的鼓励下勇敢地参加比赛的故事。原文中有一处细节:
I turned to find David coming to me, his small body rocking from side to side as he swung his feet forward.
这句描写了David跑步时的样子,尤其是rock和swing用得非常传神,但如果在续写中照抄his small body rocking from side to side as he swung his feet forward,则有被判抄袭的风险,而且这部分本身也不是一个完整的句子,应改造后引用,或者说在引用中改造。
示例一:
Attractive and moved by his typical rocking gesture, all the audience stood up to cheer and applaud for his courage and toughness.
此句只引用了rocking一词。
示例二:
Rocking from side to side, he tried his best to swing his feet forward to catch up with other runners.
此句引用了rocking和swing,分别用在句首和句中。
总之,好的引用可以照应前文,使原文和续写浑然一体,而引用不当既不能起到表达上的作用,还有被判抄袭的风险。
